I keep people safe and happy in remote and challenging environments to enable them to reach their goals.
I live for adventure. This combined with my professional manner, training in risk & security management and over 22 years of industry experience has resulted in me being a very sought after expedition guide and remote safety consultant. In short, I keep people safe and happy in remote and challenging environments to enable them to reach their goals. I also have extensive experience in planning, organising and managing complex projects across different industries. The teams and projects have included TV productions, remote expeditions, development projects, seismic operations, climbing expeditions and even a touring heavy metal band.
I have spent over 74 months on expeditions travelling to over 90 countries, exploring overland the length of Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. I have had my adventures shown on National Geographic Channel and on Sky TV. They have been published in 5 books and in numerous different magazine publications. I have also inspired others by speaking about my adventures at various public speaking events. Just one of these many adventures was climbing new routes to explore a ruined inaccessible Ethiopian palace for gold and treasure.
"My colleagues and I are in awe of Dave! He has the ability to operate at that much higher level than us mere mortals. Working with him is a pure masterclass in people and process management, organisation and communication, logistics, decision making, and ever changing scenarios. He seems unbreakable no matter what is thrown at him because he is so solution driven and genuinely caring, and never ever seems to stop thinking, evaluating, evolving details and plans to make sure the overall project is delivered beyond expectation despite the fluid nature of it. Working with him is an absolute ‘must’ now on our brand projects."
